2025 Digital Marketing Internship

Davis Digital Consulting is launching a structured, hands-on internship program designed to help aspiring professionals gain real-world skills in marketing, design, development, and sales.

This 8–12 week internship is remote and unpaid, with flexible hours (10–15 hours/week) and the potential for certification and future paid opportunities.


Internship Overview

  • Duration: 8–12 weeks (remote)
  • Time Commitment: 10–15 hours/week
  • Compensation: Unpaid with potential to hire
  • Structure:
    • Weekly team meetings (1–2x via Google Meet)
    • Weekly assignments, feedback, and evaluations
    • Group and individual projects
  • Roles Available: Intern, Team Lead Intern (experienced applicants only)
  • Communication: Google Meet, Email

Choose Your Pathway

1. WordPress Developer & Web Designer Track

Goal: Build a fully functioning, performance-optimized headless WordPress site using reusable components, modern design systems, and SEO principles.

You'll Learn:

  • WordPress stack setup (headless + traditional)
  • Responsive UI/UX design
  • Theme customization and plugin integration
  • Analytics, tracking, and SEO for developers
  • Performance optimization and QA review

Ideal Candidates:

  • Familiar with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • Basic understanding of WordPress or headless CMS
  • Comfortable with Figma or similar wireframing tools

2. Social Media & Graphic Design Track

Goal: Develop and deploy marketing assets and brand strategies to generate leads and build authority through social content and creative campaigns.

You'll Learn:

  • Competitor audits and lead magnet development
  • Building a social content calendar
  • Designing multi-format creatives
  • Funnel and landing page design
  • Newsletter sequencing and branding kits

Ideal Candidates:

  • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe, or other design tools
  • Understanding of social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong writing or visual storytelling skills

3. Sales & Outreach Track

Goal: Gain experience in lead generation, cold outreach, and closing deals using modern outbound sales methods.

You'll Learn:

  • Lead sourcing and targeting strategies
  • Building and testing cold call and LinkedIn scripts
  • CRM tracking and outreach systems
  • Goal setting, KPI tracking, and sales psychology

Ideal Candidates:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable making cold calls and sending outreach messages
  • Interested in marketing/sales psychology

Additional Requirements

  • Must commit to weekly check-ins and meet deadlines
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and computer
  • Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
